Event Cancelled

We’ve had to make the difficult decision to cancel the 2022 Nashville LUNGFORCE Run/Walk on May 14, 2022.

We were so looking forward to being back in-person for the event after two years of virtual due to COVID-19, but at this time, we are unable to create the event you've come to know and love. We appreciate your interest and support and wanted to let you know as soon as possible.

We can handle your registration and fundraising in a couple of different ways:

  • We can transfer your registration fee to a donation, to support the lifesaving work of the American Lung Association.
  • We can refund your registration fee. Funds raised will still support our critical work in research, education, and advocacy. Donations remain tax deductible.
We understand you may have questions and wish to spend time considering the options above.  Please respond back to us with any questions, concerns, or how you would like things handled, at your convenience.

Thank you again for your generosity and your support.

Sincerely,

The American Lung Association Events Team

      Why We Need You

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.

      Why We're Hopeful

More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
