Sponsor a Walker
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Take a deep breath.... and be thankful that you can. Please join me on May 19, 2012 at Public Square Park (downtown Nashville) at the FIGHT FOR AIR WALK. I am gathering donations and walking to help fight asthma, lung cancer, COPD and dozens of other lung diseases.

My own father died from lung cancer 6 years ago.......I lived in 2nd hand smoke for 24 years. My greatest fear is that I will die from lung cancer, even though i have never smoked a cigarette in my life.

If you are not able to join me, I hope you will consider making a donation to the American Lung Association to continue its work to educate kids on how to manage their asthma and to not use tobacco, to research cures and better treatments for lung cancer and other lung diseases and to advocate for better local, state, and national policies to protect all of us from the harmful effects of air pollution and secondhand smoke.
