Sponsor a Walker
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma. As a child I suffered with asthma, so I know first hand the emotionally and physically debilitating effects of asthma. I was one of the few children fortunate enough to outgrow my asthma and was able to participate in high school athletics, join the Marine Corps, and participate in numerous marathons and triathlons as an adult. Unfortunately most children will not outgrow their asthma and will be limited to what physical activity they can do into adulthood. No one should struggle to breathe. That is why I am leading the Kindred Team in the Fight for Air Walk.

As a former Marine, I recall the words of President Ronald Regan ? ?Some people spend and entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world, Marines don?t have that problem?. Your participation or donation in the upcoming walk is an excellent way to show the local community and individuals and families impacted by childhood asthma and other lung diseases that you truly believe you can make a difference.
