Let’s make sure everyone can benefit from healthy lungs.
**From March 16 until March 25, any donations raised during those days will be matched at 25% if I’m one of the top 10 fundraisers in that timeframe**
As many of you know I have had my share of health challenges since being diagnosed with cancer at 17 years old. At the end of last year, I had my 10th surgery since 1999.
After moving to Oregon 13 years ago, I discovered the key to healing my soul was hiking.
I decided that 2018 is the year I want to push myself and test my limits. I signed up to climb Mt. Hood with Climb for Clean Air. While my lungs have always been healthy, I know what it’s like to live with a chronic condition and I want to give back to the medical community. Please help support me and together we can create a healthier future .
You can follow my training updates on my Instagram and Facebook page. Let me know if you need the link.
Chances are you know someone who has faced the challenges of asthma, COPD, lung cancer or air pollution. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Lung Association provide community based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research. With your help, we will fight against lung disease and for lung health. We will be making a positive difference for all of the parents who have a child with asthma, the people who struggle daily with COPD and the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and friends who get diagnosed with lung cancer.
Every donation I receive helps make a bigger impact. Please help support my efforts to save lives, donate now.
Together we can fight lung disease successfully!
J.J.'s birthday fundraising challenge
We reached our goal of 14 donors for J.J.'s 14th year on March 17, 2018. We actually had 17 people donate in honor of my dog. We raised a total of $659 in honor of J.J. Thank you so much! Please continue to donate to reach my goal of raising $3900. See matching challenge above.
