I am so excitted to summit Mount Hood this year and partnering with ALA to reach the 11,245 feet climb. My goal of summiting Mt Hood is more than a personal goal but a mission to elevate the incredible importance of clean air. Every single person can relate and benefit from promoting clean air and lung health.
Chances are you know someone who has faced the challenges of asthma, COPD, lung cancer or air pollution. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be helping the American Lung Association provide community based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research. With your help, we will fight against lung disease and for lung health. We will be making a positive difference for all of the parents who have a child with asthma, the people who struggle daily with COPD and the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, children and friends who get diagnosed with lung cancer.
Every donation I receive helps make a bigger impact. Please help support my efforts o save lives, donate now.
Together we can fight lung disease successfully!
Dog Mt - Saturday March 24th - Just go up
Wow what a beautiful day hiking Dog Mt was last weekend. This hike is great for conditioning because it's mainly "UP" once you leave the parking lot, the top is mainly deep snow and open terrain - it's not tucked in the trees. Hikers are exposed to the elements and strong wind gusts are pretty common... We really lucked out and had a gorgeous hike, little wind, and off/on blue skies! I'm staring to think Mother Nature's rooting for us, we keep getting great hiking conditions. Hopefully this will stay true for the actual Mt Hood climb day!
