This summer, I'm climbing 14,411 foot Mount Rainier to raise money for lung disease research and prevention! This is the most heavily glaciated, most prominent mountain in the contiguous United States, and I'm going to need all of your support to push me to the top!
Odds are that by now, many of you know the reason I'm doing this. Some of you know someone who's been affected by a lung disease, cancer or other lung related issue. These diseases leave those caring for the people suffering from them feeling incredibly helpless, lost and powerless. My personal experience took a turn this past year with the passing of my incredible mother in law Ann, and the unbelievably strong fight she put up against an extremely agressive form of lung cancer.
Its so important to me to do what I can now, in order to prevent more people I know, love and care about from suffering from terrible diseases like this in the future. My experience has taught me that while life is full of tragedy and suffering, its also full of catalysts that can challenge and motivate you to push yourself out of your comfort zone, teach you about what kind of person you can be and what you can accomplish, and encourage you to help other people and future generations suffer less than those that came before them. Through this enourmous challenge, I'm hoping I can contribute to those future generations and help ensure they live healthy, happy, disease free lives.
Every dollar I receive helps make a bigger impact and helps more people. Please help support my efforts to save lives, donate now!
Thank you all so much!!!
