Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

In August of 2011 my father-in-law went into the doctor with an irritation in the back of throat and a slight cough. He went through rigorous testing only to be diagnosed with Stage 4, Small Cell Cancer. He was not a smoker and was otherwise very healthy. On December 12, 2011, I lost my father-in-law to his very short battle with lung cancer. He was so strong through his battle and that is something that I am not going to let rest with him. I am walking in the Fight For Air Climb to honor his spirit and to bring awareness and hope to other families that have members who are diagnosed. It is my hope, that with each step I take, we are one step closer to finding a cure.

Thank you to all of you for your support, in our ups and downs. Having you in our lives has helped each of us.
