Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

Hi,

I know that, for most of us, money is tight these days and too many people are asking for more but, this one is important to me personally and maybe to you also.

No one should struggle to breathe. That is why I am walking in the Fight For Air Walk. I will be climbing 660 steps(=30 story building) side-by-side with Minnesota Firefighters in full gear and 100's of loving & caring people who know or knew someone special in their lives who suffers or suffered from lung related health issues. I personally lost a much loved grandfather, a Minneapolis firefighter from station #4 & #20, to lung cancer and during my childhood my family was close friends with a family who lost 3 children to cystic fibrosis. We played together every summer as children but we never had the chance to grow-up together. I can't change these stories but this is our chance to DO SOMETHING! We don't need to feel completely helpless! Please, either join me and register for the walk or make a donation of any size, to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR.

Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, people with lung cancer and emphysema, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
