Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

I am participating in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb because breathing shouldn?t be an uphill climb. I am asking for your support because?

Lung disease is the third leading cause of death in the U.S. and is responsible for one in seven deaths.
Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths in the U.S.
Asthma is the number one chronic disease of children.
COPD currently affects 10.2 million Americans.
Air Pollution poisons the lungs of over 60% of Americans each day.

These are the facts. The crisis is real. The American Lung Association needs your help.

For more than 100 years, the American Lung Association has been the guardian of healthy lungs and clean air. Every dollar I raise enables the American Lung Association to continue its mission to save lives by promoting lung health and preventing lung disease. Every dollar makes a difference.

Many people have been affected by respiratory disorders and diseases, perhaps some of you reading this are even impacted by one of these diseases right now. Working as a First Responder at the Chanhassen Fire Department for the past 4 years has shown me how serious some of these diseases can be and raising money to find treatments and cures to these diseases are essential.
