Why I climb
On Sept 17, 2004, after battling lung cancer for several years, I lost my father, Rick Jones. My dad was a kind man and a wonderful father. Although he ultimately lost the battle, he fought hard against this horrible disease. My dad was not a smoker, however, he, my grandfather and great grandfather all died from lung cancer.
That is why I am Climbing in the Fight For Air Climb.
Please either join my team, Wine for Air, and register for the climb or make a generous donation to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR.
Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, people with lung cancer and emphysema, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
Together, we can win this fight.
