Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

The Austin American Lung Association is proud to partner with the LIVESTRONG foundation in the search for cures for lung cancer.

Did you know?

Lung cancer kills more people than any other kind of cancer combined

Lung cancer kills more women than breast, ovarian and cervical cancer combined, - yet it is the least funded!

Lung disease affects all of us. Whether you know someone with lung cancer, COPD, asthma - or just someone who enjoys smokefree public spaces - healthy lungs and clean air are priorities for everyone.

Please consider contributing to my efforts, while also helping improving lung health and the lives of those affected by cancer in Austin.

I climb for:

Research that will cure lung disease

Those who can't quit smoking and those who shouldn't start

Lungs that burn from exercise, not ozone pollution

Asthma education that stops fatal attacks in children

Laws that improve air quality, both inside and out

All those who can't

Every step and every dollar raised is put toward programs including asthma education in schools, research for cures of lung disease, and advocacy for smokefree spaces.
