Sponsor a Climber
Choose this if you would like to donate to a specific individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total for the specific individual. If that individual is on a team, it will also increase the team's fundraising total. You will be able to search for a specific participant to which to donate.
Donate to a Team
Choose this if you would like donate to a team and not a specific participant. Your donation will increase the team fundraising total but not a specific individual on the team. You will be able to search for a specific team to which to donate.
Donate to the Event
Choose this if you would like to donate to the overall event and not to a team or individual. Your donation will increase the fundraising total on the event thermometer but will not support a specific team or individual participant. You will not be able to search for a specific team or individual participant to which to donate.

I am climbing in this race as a tribute to my grandfather, Ernie "Slick" Wright. He had tuberculosis when his oldest granddaughter was very small and several of the family members had to be tested for it as well. He also had emphysema which came from smoking and his job of sandblasting railroad cars, which was detrimental to his lung capacity. I am also climbing in honor of my Girl Scouts, with hopes that they don't start smoking when they get older. My personal goal with this race is to get back down to my 100 pounds lost by race day.
