No one should struggle to breathe.
On April 21, 2012, I will not be able to climb in the American Lung Association's Fight for Air Climb. Not sure all of you know but I am now the Development Director with the American Lung Association here in Wichita. I would love to participate in the climb but since I am in charge of the event it would be pretty hard for me to climb and run the event. As you might know my mom passed away on March 23, 2010 from Lung Cancer. This was my best friend and a wonderful mother. I am very passionate about my job and how it can help others so that their loved ones are still here with them. I don't want any other daughters, sons or grandkids to suffer because their loved one is no longer here with them due to Lung Disease.
Please either join me and register for the climb or make a generous donation to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR.
Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, people with lung cancer and emphysema, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
