Welcome to My Personal Page
After 25 years, I finally quit smoking!! I couldn't walk two flights of stairs without an inhaler and now I can and will climb 42 flights for those who can't. We all have a story....my story could be very much like yours.
I am doing this climb in memory of my grandmother, who lived with an oxygen tank for several years; for my dear coach who lost his battle recently to lung cancer, for my uncles and grandfather who lost their battles. I do this climb in honor of my loved ones still living and fighting theirs...for my friends with asthma, for my friend Brian who celebrated his 4th "birthday" recently with his new lungs due to CF, for my friend Pam's father who fights stage 4 lung cancer with a positive attitude. I do this climb for the stories I have yet to hear, the people I have yet to meet.
No one should struggle to breathe. That is why I am participating in the Fight For Air Climb.
Please either join me and register for the climb or make a generous donation to the American Lung Association to support our FIGHT FOR AIR.
Thank you for joining this important fight for children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, people with lung cancer and emphysema, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
