The American Lung Association hosts a variety of events to engage our cyclists and volunteers throughout the year to build excitement and share information about the Trek Across Maine. These events are a great way to introduce new cyclists and volunteers to the Trek and help to prepare first time participants for what to expect.
Gear up for the Trek Across Maine all year long with items from our Merchandise Store! Show your Trek pride with apparel, home goods and more! New items are added regularly, so check back for wearables and other gear throughout the year.
Our Beer & Bikes events in 2017 will be hosted by volunteers and Trek Teams! Stay tuned for more information and check our Facebook page regularly for event dates and details.
ALA staff members Gale Auclair and Chrystal Toner will be hosting a number of open line question and answer calls throughout the year. These calls are geared towards providing an open forum to answer any questions that participants may have about the Trek Across Maine. Open for one hour each session, attendees may call in and ask questions related to fundraising, training, lodging, what to bring, etc.
The phone line will be open for all Trek questions for one hour each session. You are not required to stay on the line for the full hour, you may stay on just until your question is answered if you choose.
Calls are currently scheduled for 6:00pm – 7:00pm on the following dates:

Winter is the new spring! The Trek Across Maine has moved indoors and we want you to join us. These training classes are tailored to follow the Trek route from start to finish; including actual mileage, simulated terrain and routes. You don’t have to be a YMCA member to join the class. All class members receive a tech-jersey. The American Lung Association partners with the Kennebec Valley YMCA to host the Trek Across Maine Indoors for two sessions beginning in January.
For more details on session dates, pricing and class information, call Craig at 207-622-9622.
More details about hosting locations or dates and pricing for sessions, will be made available in November/December.
