I feel very lucky to be able to ride again this year for the American Lung Association across the Cape to help raise money to fight lung disease and increase awareness about lung health. I ride for ALA because asthma runs in our family, and my children and I have experienced the helpless feeling of not being able to breathe. Since I started riding with ALA three years ago, I have seen more people around me suffer from Lung disease or Lung cancer, and seeing the helpless feeling it causes in those around them, makes me want to fight even more. This is something I can do to help.
