Reach the Beach - Washington

Team Turner

Team Turner is Turner Hibbs and Meg Sands.

Turner and I are riding in honor of his grandmother, who he shares his name with, and my mother who died in January 2017. She suffered for many years with COPD and more than a year+ ago her doctor found a mass in her lung that she chose not to have diagnosed. Her doctor suspected it was cancerous but she didn't wish to undergo treatment for it so she preferred not to know. She didn't see the point, she felt she had lived a long life and she wanted to enjoy whatever time she had left. Our family is grateful for all the wonderful years we had with our mother and grandmother but recognize that many others still are looking for help to find cures for their loved ones who suffer from various lung diseases. We hope you will consider making a donation to the American Lung Association to help someone in need. Even a small donation of as little as $5.00 can make a difference. Our team is hoping to raise $600.00 or $300.00 each, over twice the required amount for each of us for the Reach the Beach ride. Please help make a difference in someone else's life. Thank you and blessings to your good health.

You can support us in our efforts just by donating. Your generosity would mean a lot to us and all those who benefit from the work of the American Lung Association.

Lung disease is on the rise and your donation would help fund research and provide education and advocacy efforts. One pedal at a time, you can help us ride for a better tomorrow.

Together we can fight lung disease successfully!
