Let’s make sure everyone can benefit from healthy air and lungs.
This is my first year riding this event and will be participating in the century ride, which will be the longest ride I have undertaken.
I am riding to represent all those who suffer from lung disease, especially those who are close to my heart. I am dedicating my ride to Kellie Rahm, who gave all she had in her battle against lung cancer in July 2016 at 46. She never smoked. There is a stigma that only smokers get lung cancer, but anyone can be affected. This is very personal for me as it is a promise I made to her that I would participate in this ride for her. I hope to continue to advocate awareness during this fundraiser and help her story continue on.
You can support me in my efforts just by donating. Your generosity would mean a lot to me and all those who benefit from the work of the American Lung Association.
This is for my friends, my family, and anyone who has ever been affected by lung dieases.
Update 3/8/2017: I have changed from a solo rider to being team captian of "Team Kellie" we have taken on people who will be volunteering time as well as several new riders. This is a honor to be a part of and I am overwhelmed by the amount of support "Team Kellie" has received. Thank you so much.
