I participated last year in this amazing event and have decided to ride the 100 mile Reach the Beach route again this year. In May, we will ride from Portland to Pacific City, OR to raise funds for the American Lung Association's efforts to fund lung disease treatment developments, combat childhood asthma, and fund teen smoking prevention strategies. No one should struggle to breathe.
I am dedicating my efforts again this year to Roxanne, a dear friend within my Rotary family who received a surprise diagnosis of lung cancer last year and just underwent a second round of surgery.
Please join my friend, Greg Johnson, and me by registering for this event to ride and fundraise, or make a tax deductible donation to my efforts and help us, along with the American Lung Association, support the FIGHT FOR AIR.
Thank you for joining this important fight for people with lung cancer and emphysema, children with asthma, teens who are pressured to start smoking, and everyone who wants to breathe healthy air in our communities.
