No one should struggle to breathe. That is why I am participanting in Reach the Beach.

2 years ago, at nearly 300 pounds, I suffered from asthma.  I pedaled my trusty steed, a 1977 Schwinn 10 speed, from Grand Ronde to Pacific City to help raise funds for the American Lung Association.  

This year, 80 pounds lighter and with a new set of wheels, I am going to ride my first century ride!  A total of 104 miles, from Portland to Pacific City, this ride will test my lungs and my limits.  BRING IT ON!!!

My 32nd birthday is this month, and my only birthday wish is to reach my fundraising goal of $500!
