Douglas F. McMahon, M.D.

Dr. McMahon is from Little Canada, MN and attended Saint Thomas Academy.  He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Boston College and then received a Masters degree from Georgetown University in Physiology and Biophysics.  He continued at Georgetown University School of Medicine earning a Medical Degree. He completed his residency in Pediatrics at the University of South Florida Hospitals and Clinics.  Following residency, Dr. McMahon completed a fellowship in Allergy and Asthma at the University of Wisconsin, Madison Medical School.

Dr. McMahon himself has severe asthma, environmental allergies, and tree nut allergies. After spending a large part of his youth in doctors’ offices and hospitals, he was inspired by a physician who not only helped his symptoms but also wanted him to live as normal as a life as possible.  At a young age he dedicated himself to following in this specific doctor’s  footsteps, knowing he would be able to relate to his patients and help them live a prosperous life despite their asthma and
allergies.
