The American Lung Association of Mississippi and the Mississippi Department of Health are now partners in the fight against tuberculosis in Mississippi.

~ Tuberculin skin test curriculum includes certification and 6.42 contact hours of nursing continuing education.

~ The course is designed for health care professionals, both public and private, who administer and read tuberculin skin test results.

~ Heath care professionals are required to be recertified every five years.

Sessions are scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. multiple times monthly throughout the state (click here to view additional dates.)

Cost: $40 ($30 if paid 14 days in advance.)

Registration fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.  You must provide written notice (at least 5 days prior to the scheduled workshop) to CANCEL or TRANSFER registration to another workshop or to another person. There is a $15.00 processing fee charged for transfers.

NOTE: Registration process is not complete until forms with payment are received at least 5 days prior to class date.
Limited spaces are available at some sites. Walk in registration is NOT permitted. Once you are registered, you will
receive a confirmation in the mail.
