Join Us For The 2022 Arizona LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover!

The American Lung Association launched the LUNG FORCE Initiative 5 years ago to unite men and women to stand together against lung cancer.

This year LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover falls on the week of May 8-14 and we need YOU to help turn the town TURQUOISE!

During Turquoise Takeover you can participate in a fun-filled week of activities, including our 2022/23 LUNG FORCE Kick-Off, the LUNG FORCE Ambassador Program, LUNG FORCE Walk meet-ups, and so much more!

Help Us Turn Turquoise:

90 CENTS

Turquoise is the color of lung health. And we are proud to say that 90 cents of every dollar you help to raise goes towards American Lung Association's program costs and the American Lung Association has been at the forefront of lung health in Arizona for over 90 years.

Did You Know?

Lung cancer is the leading cancer killer in the US.

Anyone can get lung cancer, and no one deserves the disease. Close to a quarter of a million people in the US will be diagnosed with lung cancer this year alone. Just in Arizona, over 4,550 people were diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021. Help us raise funds and raise awareness to fight lung cancer.

The LUNG FORCE Turquoise Takeover provides critical funds for lifesaving research and programs, early detection initiatives, and pandemic defense, relief, and prevention through our COVID-19 Action Initiative and vaccine education resources.

      Why We Need You

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men. Someone is diagnosed with lung cancer every two minutes and 14 seconds. 4 in 5 of those diagnosed will ultimately die of the disease.

      Why We're Hopeful

More Americans than ever are surviving lung cancer. The survival rate has increased by a dramatic 13% to 22.6% in the last 5 years. Your support will help us continue the progress in our efforts to defeat lung cancer.
